Ashley Sartin is a Theater Major at MTSU and has been with Dance Works since it began. She began dance at age three. After her first recital, she said her favorite thing about it all was “the lights.” Ashley began dancing competitively at the age of six and continued competing for twelve years. During that time, she received various scholarships and awards including Tremaine Dancer of the Year, two Tremaine Dance Scholarships, three Co. Dance Scholarships, The Hollywood Vibe Scholarship, The Clear Talent Agency Award audition held at Disneyland and the “Intensity Award” for her solo. From a young age, Ashley began student teaching with preschool and early elementary dance classes. She has assisted with all ages and levels. She continues to attend workshops and enjoys learning new choreography. Ashley is currently teaching a preschool ballet, tap, and tumbling class, a 6-7 year old tap class, and a musical theatre class for all ages.
