Grant Chenok, of FLOW 40 will be a guest instructor and choreographer to Dance Works. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, GRANT CHENOK now resides in the Los Angeles area working professionally as a dancer and actor. His training began at age 15, where he studied primarily hip hop and break dancing. It wasn't long until Grant explored other styles of dance and gave up everything to pursue his passion. He was a proud member of the Bay Area's largest performing company and became very involved in the competition circuit. Fortunate enough to work with renowned teachers from both coasts, Grant trained extensively and began working professionally.
Grant Chenok has appeared on NBC's Days of Our Lives and Scrubs, the Disney Channel's Drake and Josh, as well as the History Channel's Come Home Alive. Also appearing in the feature film Zombie Prom starring Ru Paul, VH1's movie 30 Days Till I'm Famous and short film Mothers Be Good. Grant's repertoire includes commercial/ industrial work for names such as Burger King, Nike, Paramount and Pepsi Twist. He has also performed in music videos with upcoming r&b artist Jahzmyne, pop sensation Mandi Leigh, and U.K. breakout artist Jem. Grant has also worked on the Paul McCartney Tour, with the Vietnamese production Kim Loi Cali, and has opened for pop superstars Nina Skye, Tone Loc and Ashlee Simpson. Some of his live stage credits include the Mision America World Tour, featuring Latin icon Dante Gebel, the Miss California Pageant and the role of Billy in the West Coast Premiere of Footloose. He has also made television appearances on the Fox Network, Comedy Central and the WB. Some of Grant's many choreography credits include Mandi Leigh Summer Tour, Civic Dance Troupe, Dancer Competitions and FLOW 40 DANCE WORKSHOPS. Grant also holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree from Oklahoma City University. He also teaches nationally for many private studios, dance teams, and independent performers. Grant can be seen dancing behind the Pussycat Dolls & Busta Rhymes in the "Dontcha" music video and Brittany Murphy & Paul Oakenfold in their music video entitled "Faster Kill Pussycat." Most recently, Grant worked on a Web Pod commercial for Bugaboo Strollers.
